Brotherhood at Satilla Baptist

  Satilla Missionary Baptist Church invites all men, sons, and grandsons to attend Brotherhood at 1:00 PM on May 3, 2025. Join for a time of fellowship, connection, and brotherhood, coming together to strengthen our bond as men of God. It will be a great opportunity build relationships, share experiences, and support one another on our spiritual journeys. Satilla Baptist looks forward to seeing you there and encourage you to invite other men in your life to join this special gathering. Come together to uplift and empower each other while walking the path of faith together.  

Bible Drill Training

  Sweat Memorial Baptist Church will have Bible Drill Training on Saturday, March 15 from 9:00 AM—12:00 PM. The guest speaker will be Maria Brannen, Executive Director of Georgia Baptist Bible Drill & Speakers, Inc. Some of the areas Maria will speak on are: Bible Literacy/Bible Skills; Children’s Bible Drill Procedure; Children’s Bible Drill Basics; Nuts and Bolts of Bible Drill; Creative Ideas for Teaching Bible Drill; 66 Bible Skill Ideas. If you are interested, please RSVP to Nancy Perry at (912) 614-4390, so that there are enough materials.   If you don’t RSVP, please don’t let that stop you from attending. There is no cost for this event.

Pleasant Valley Honors Sam & Sue Stack with Reception

  What a joy for Pleasant Valley Baptist (Waycross, GA) to honor Sam Stack, their Associate Pastor/Minister of Music and Education with a surprise reception on Sunday, July 30, in recognition of his 20 years of service at Pleasant Valley. “Brother” Sam, as he is affectionately called, began his music ministry at the church in July 2003. Along with his ministry at Pleasant Valley, Brother Sam has also served as Associational Music Director of the Piedmont-Okefenokee Association for the past 18 years. In addition, he has been an active member of the Sons of Jubal for the past 16 years. During the reception, members were given an opportunity to express their appreciation to Brother Sam and his wife, Sue, through cards of appreciation along with a time of public expressions of thanks to them for their ministry at the church.
