    For Seminary Students: Crawford Street Baptist Church (formerly located in Waycross, Georgia) established a fund to provide scholarships to Southern Baptist theological seminary students. Piedmont Okefenokee Baptist Association has the privilege of nominating candidates to receive a scholarship to students out of the POBA    who will be attending one of the six Southern Baptist Theological Seminaries in the fall of 2025.   June 17-22, 2024 Rome, Georgia Early bird deadline: April 1 POBA students and chaperones of POBA member churches are being provided a $100 scholarship. Call the POBA Office at (912) 285-8161 with names of POBA students and chaperones by March 28. 

  Ministers of Youth and Youth Leaders are invited to a Youth Minister Network meeting on Thursday, February 8 at Southern Roost in Blackshear, beginning at 12:15 PM.   This meeting is held monthly on the second Thursday.  

  When: July 8-12, 2024 Where: Epworth By The Sea, St. Simons Island Cost:   $375/person Details: Space is limited. Contact Rebecca Musgrove (912-548-5820) if you are interested in attending. Deposit of $50/person is due by February 1. Remaining balance due by May 1. Cost includes all camp activities, books, tshirt, and snacks. For His Glory Student Camp is a ministry of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
