  POBA will be collecting items for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home during the month of May. If you would like to participate, please bring items to the POBA Office by Thursday, May 29, 2025.  The suggested items are: Paper towels Laundry detergent Dish detergent Individually wrapped snacks Large canned vegetables Canned Chicken Gift Cards If you have any questions, please contact the POBA office at (912) 285-8161. 

  Update : Thank you to each individual and church who brought donations for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home. Your generosity is appreciated! To date we have received donations from the following churches (as well as individuals): Astoria, Calvary, Laura Chapel, Liberty, Millwood, Mt. Calvary, Newbern, Pleasant Hill, and South Gate. The POBA will be collecting items for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home throughout the month of May.
