MinistrySafe Opportunity for POBA Churches

It is imperative that POBA churches take intentional steps to protect the children that are engaged in the ministries provided through your local church.  MinistrySafe is an excellent resource that is designed to help you provide the best possible protection.  This protection begins with background checks as a first step.  Equipping those who minister to children is also essential. MinistrySafe can help with background checks, comprehensive online training and establishing processes, policies and procedures.

 To this end, I contacted MinistrySafe to see how your POBA can assist churches in pursuing excellence in protecting children under our care.

We (MinistrySafe) are willing to come alongside POBA to help equip your 63 churches. If your church is already a MinistrySafe member, ‘well done’ (you can take advantage of the discounted background check pricing).

Through the MinistrySafe system, your churches have access to online Sexual Abuse Awareness Training (and many other trainings), sample Policies & Procedures, screening forms and the ability to initiate and review background checks.

MinistrySafe membership is typically $250 annual fee and $5 per person on the Awareness Training. There is an existing coupon code for Georgia Baptists that will knock $100 off the first year’s annual fee: GBMB2023.

Per your request, we will partner with you to go deeper on the discounting until March 31, 2023.

Until March 31st, churches that are not already MinistrySafe members can sign up and use a coupon code. Using that code at the time of sign-up (between now and March 31st) will waive the cost of the first year’s annual fee ($250 value).
