The Associational Advisor

  POBA's D-Now "One Weekend" will be held on February 20-22, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Blackshear.  The speaker will be Alex Gore, Student Pastor of Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina. Music will be led by Whit Smith.  The cost will be $15 per person, which can be paid in advance or at the door. 

  The POBA 57th Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Central Baptist Church in Waycross, Georgia.  The following churches were represented: Camp Pinckney, Central, FBC Blackshear, FBC Waycross, Haywood, Jamestown, Laura Chapel, Liberty, Lulaton, Mt. Calvary, Pineview, Pleasant Hill, Satilla, Second, South Gate, Southside, Ten Mile, Waynesville, Williams Chapel, and Youmans Chapel.  Theme: "Go & Tell" based on Mark 5:19-20  “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you,  and how He has had compassion on you.” Highlights: 2026 Budget approved 2026 Leadership approved
